DGM Global Institute was created to research and develop core and remediation curricula utilizing new and innovative teaching technologies to engage and/or remediate literary in elementary, secondary education K through 12. In tandem with standardized tests and progress monitoring systems, we have discovered an extreme deficit in reading. Based on ECBLA.org, 72% of 4th graders and 71% of 8th graders read below grade level. Additionally, 14% of the US adult population, equivalent to 32 million adults in the US alone, cannot read.
"Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will see what you imagine, and at last, you create what you will."
- George Bernard Shaw
Our organizational research, technologies, and curriculum are designed to engage students during their formative years of education to develop fundamentally sound literacy skills, problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and social-emotional intelligence.
Our five-year goal is to expand the curriculum to the adult learner in the areas of reading, mathematics, coping skills for workplace violence and prevention, social-emotional intelligence, and critical thinking.
By combining education with medicine, science, technology, social-emotional intelligence, culture, critical thinking, and faith; we believe we can earnestly change the dichotomy or bridge the gap between our current methods of engaging the student in their learning environments and the individual development of the student based on personal, cultural, physiological, psychological, economical, or any type of barrier that may impact the core of the student's learning abilities.
"Our children are our most incredible resource for the future. If we do not cultivate the richness of their internal soul/soil now, to create better more productive citizens for the future; They may never arrive with the necessary tools to guarantee a thriving tomorrow for generations to come. "
